Mahogany Boss Pen

This "Boss" pen is a little over 5 inches long and built on the popular "Sierra" model mechanics. The body is solid mahogany, hand turned created specifically for this pen. The pen extends with a half-twist of the top and uses an easy to find Parker-style refill, available at any office supply place.
When making this pen, I started with some mahogany I had available from building a cribbage board. I chose the mechanics for the "Boss" pen and then use my lathe to shape and fit the body to the pen. After quite a bit of drilling, gluing, shaping and sanding, the pen is quality tested and ready to go. This pen makes a wonderful gift for anyone who appreciates handcrafted items, and is perfect for birthdays, holidays, or any special occasion.
